The plain-English version of how we run appointments, what happens if you are late, and what we will do if you are not happy with your cut.
Appointments can be booked online through Vagaro or by calling the shop. Walk-ins are welcome and always have been — but an appointment is the only way to guarantee a chair and a particular barber at a particular time.
If you are running late, call the shop. We will hold your chair as long as we reasonably can without pushing the appointments behind you.
Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean we have to shorten the service or reschedule you — not as a penalty, but because the person after you booked a time too.
Cancel or reschedule any time, and please give us as much notice as you can so the slot can go to someone else. Repeated no-shows may mean we ask for an appointment to be confirmed by phone before we hold a chair.
Current pricing is published on our services page and shown in the shop. Prices are per service and may vary with hair length, thickness, or the time a particular style takes.
If a cut you have asked for is going to cost more than the listed price, we tell you before we start — never after.
Tell us before you leave the chair. Most things can be fixed in two minutes while you are still sitting there, and we would far rather do that than have you walk out unhappy.
If you get home and something is genuinely wrong, come back within seven days and we will put it right at no charge. That covers the work — it does not cover a change of mind about the style you asked for, or hair that has grown out.
Payment is due at the end of the service. We take cash and card. Tips are appreciated and never expected.
Please let your barber know before the service if you have a scalp condition, a skin allergy, or a sensitivity to any product. We may decline a service where we think it could aggravate a skin or scalp condition — that is for your protection, not ours.
Tools and stations are cleaned and disinfected between clients.
We cut children’s hair and we like having them in. A parent or guardian needs to stay in the shop for the whole appointment for anyone under 12.
Please keep your belongings with you. We cannot take responsibility for items left in the shop, though we will always do our best to reunite you with anything you leave behind.
We photograph haircuts for our gallery and social media, and we ask first every time. You can say no, and you can ask us later to take a photo down. See our privacy policy.
These terms may be updated. The current version always lives on this page. Questions about anything here — call the shop at (610) 679-0885.
